Cornbread dressing


 


Ingredients:
1 box Jiffy cornbread mix—make according to directions

1/2 bell pepper, finely chopped
1/2 small onion, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
2 eggs
1 small can of chicken broth
salt and pepper to taste
sage to taste

Directions:
Sauté vegetables until soft.
Crumble baked cornbread into mixing bowl.
Add cooked vegetables, eggs and broth.
Mix well. Should be a moist mixture.
Put into baking dish and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees until firm.
